Final Fantasy: Distant Worlds & General Update

So, last Wednesday I managed to bag tickets for the Final Fantasy: Distant Worlds 30th Anniversary tour in London on 4th November.

I’m pretty psyched to go, more so because this will now be my third time attending this event. I attended in 2012 and 2014. So it will be definitely awesome to see Arnie Roth and Nobuo Uematsu yet again!

I do enjoy going to these events, it almost magical. All Final Fantasy fans in one place, some even cosplaying.

I am really hoping, that now this will be my third time that they play Final Fantasy IX: Melodies of Life. Final Fantasy IX was one of the first Final Fantasy games I played, then I worked my way backwards until Final Fantasy X came out. I have to admit I haven’t played any of the Final Fantasy’s since X-2, although I am planning to pick up Final Fantasy 15 at some point.

My ideal playlist would be as follows:

  • Melodies of Life (FFIX)
  • Eyes on me (FFVIII)
  • Vamo Alla Flamenco (FFIX)
  • Zanarkand (FFX)
  • Theme of Love (FFIV)
  • Dear Friends (FFV)
  • One Winged Angel (FFVII)
  • The Place I’ll Return to someday (FFIX)
  • Liberi Fatali (FFVIII)
  • Aerith’s Theme (FFVII)
  • Chocobo Melody
  • Victory Theme

If they played all of these songs, I can die a happy woman. Anyway – I will probably do a proper review of the event when I’ve actually been! If you are going come an say hello, I’ll be at the evening show in the stalls at seat J60!

In other news: I passed my driving test! Yay, and I’m getting a car on Sunday!

Also the ‘Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale’ is being released in UK Cinemas on 19 April 2017, so I intend to go watch that and review it. Hopefully I will also be going to see ‘Ghost in the Shell’ in the cinemas at some point which is released in UK cinemas on 30 March 2017.

This year is going to be exciting with all the awesome releases!
